Description Additional Info   The African giraffe is the tallest land mammal with males being up to 18 feet and weighing close to two tons!  These enormous animals are related to deer and cattle, but in a separate family called giraffidae.  There are nine different subspecies with each one varying in color and pattern. Female giraffe have tufts of hair on their horns which and are smaller than the male horns.  The necks have a total of seven vertabrae.  Their heart can weigh 22 pounds at two feet in width which generates about double the blood pressure of other mammals.   Features 8 Feet in Height 28 inch Body Rectangular Base is 15 inches x 10 inches Neck attaches to base of Body.
